There may be an exception or two or three but most rivers empty into the ocean.
But have you ever wondered how a river reaches the ocean?
The river has two banks which guide the river, giving it the freedom to move along but also protecting it from getting scattered. If the river fights the constraints of the banks, and breaks out, it will end up drying and dying.
Our spiritual journey can be compared to that of a flowing river.
