Achieving happiness is not really difficult IF we do ONE thing: Control the mind. But the mind doesn’t allow us to take over that easily. It fights us every step of the way — reminding us of past hurts, mistakes, fights, broken relationships, missed opportunities, and much, much more.

And when we are reminded of angry words by loved ones, or unwarranted hurts, the ego kicks in and asks “how dare they”?

But with patience & perseverance, and by learning methods to subdue the ego, I have been able to control the mind.
